Experience

Full Time Intern

@ Bluestaq

May 2024-August 2024

Bluestaq is a startup software company in downtown Colorado Springs. I interned part-time at Blustaq during the summer of 2023, in which I compiled an in-depth dataset on satellites. After that, I was invited back to intern during summer 2024, working as a full-time intern (32 hr/week)on a variety of tasks. including front-end code, back-end code, and scripts. The programming languages that I've become familiar with include Java, HTML, JSON, CSS, and Typescript. I have learned how to navigate a shared coding environment through Git and practice frequent communication with my team members to ensure everything flows smoothly. Throughout both summers at Bluestaq, I developed products for the United States Space Force and Armed Forces.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards- Board Member

August 2024-Present

I was first selected to attend RYLA as a camper in 2023, where I learned leadership and team-building skills at this intensive 4-day program. I fell in love with the service-oriented mindset of Rotary, and returned to RYLA 2024 as a Junior Counselor. In my position, I led a group of 8 through daily activities, teaching them leadership skills while excercising my own. After this, I joined the RYLA board and work to plan for next year's RYLA. One of my main efforts has been recruiting Junior Counselors through an application and interview process, ensuring that all JCs are adequately prepared to lead.

Panino's Restaurant- Hostess & Expeditor

November 2022-Present

As a hostess, my basic role is to greet customers, escort them to tables, and buss tables. Yet, I far surpass these expectations, taking on additional roles like training new employees, taking orders, and making reservations. After demonstrating my skill in the service industry, I was promoted to the expeditor position. This role requires a focused and calm worker who is able to navigate stressful situations in the kitchen. As an expeditor, I manage the food window, answer phone calls, make desserts, pack to-go orders, and much more.

All in AI- Program Coordinator

January 2023-Present

All In AI is a non-profit focused on creating quality instructional content to support young learners in the utilization of machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a member of this non-profit, I helped run our free 2023 and 2024 summer camps. At these camp,s we taught 45+ kids ages 12-17 about coding, AI, and machine learning for 5 days. I found restaurants and businesses to sponsor our cause and help supply free food to the students. I worked hands-on with students to answer any questions that they had, and taught lessons on coding in Python. Currently, our team is working to develop on online curriculum and plan for our next summer camp, which will be held in August 2025. CMHS Interact Club- President

August 2024-Present

Interact Club is a high-school version of the Rotary Club, and we base all that we do around our motto service above self. As president, I organize service activities for our members that upllift our communities. In 2024 alone, we have baked dog treats for animal shelters, made blankets for homeless shelters, volunteered at numerous events outside of school, and fundraised for a global charity called The Dahlia Initiative. A recent addition to the club is our Interact Club website, which I developed in order to keep the school community updated on our newest projects. Interact allows students to help their communities, and I am proud to be actively involved in such a club.
